The RVC tool (Rollforming Variable Center) allows the variation of the distance between the centers of the crimping rollers during use, maintaining the same retention force, regardless of the thickness of the joints of the automotive sheets in the door segment where these rubber gaskets are installed. The system, which was patented and developed by M. Shimizu, guarantees the fixation of rubber gaskets of different profiles with the same fixation force, being able to accommodate within a range of 1.4 to 6.0 mm of thickness of the joints (flanges) of two, three or four welded plates. The warranty on the retention and guarantee of the gaskets prevents the infiltration of water/dust in the side doors and in the trunk of motor vehicles.
