Master Pneumatic developed coalescing filters for use in compressed air systems with coolers, dryers and reservoirs operating below 52°C. Coalescing filters remove 99.98% of oil as well as all solid contamination larger than 0.3 microns.

As an option, we offer a filter element for particles down to 0.01 microns, which produces a 20% pressure drop.

M/P coalescing filters are normally used with M/P filters that, when installed close to and upstream of the M/P coalescing filter, act as pre-filters, allowing complete liquid removal and ensuring long service life for the coalescing filter.

The Vanguard Modular series is supplied with model 103-151 differential pressure indicator sight glass, which provides a practical and efficient way to determine the correct time to replace the filter element.

The easy-to-read sight glass indicates the filter element condition by color: green – clean element, or red – dirty element.

The Vanguard High Capacity series is also supplied with model 106-35 double-sided differential pressure indicator, which indicates:

• Green: clean element (maximum 6 psi);

• Yellow: intermediate stage (maximum 9 psi);

• Red: dirty element (more than 9 psi).
