The Full-Blow Cupla pneumatic couplers from Nitto Kohki feature a body manufactured from aluminum alloy, ensuring light weight and mechanical strength. They are available with threads and hose nipples in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" sizes.

The maximum working pressure is 1.5 MPa, equivalent to 15 kgf/cm², 15 bar or 218 PSI, ensuring excellent performance in industrial applications with high pressure demands.
The sealing material used is nitrile rubber (NBR), designated as NBR (SG), operating safely within a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. This is the standard sealing material supplied with the product.

Operation with the valve open or closed
The valve may be open or closed when the coupler is connected.
After connection to the plug, slide sleeve B to open the valve. Full flow is obtained this way.
Slide sleeve B back to the original position to block the flow.
The exclusive fully open gate-type valve mechanism provides low pressure loss and high flow, reducing the required source air volume.
-Flow is increased by up to 40% compared with HI CUPLA.
-During connection and disconnection, the valve is closed, allowing connection/disconnection with zero line pressure.
-When the socket sleeve returns to its original position, the purge mechanism releases residual air pressure in the coupler, eliminating unpleasant popping noise and hose whip movement during disconnection.
-The separation-prevention mechanism avoids accidental CUPLA connection, ensuring safe operation.
-The valve can be opened and closed while the socket and plug are connected.
-Weight is reduced by 30 to 45% compared with conventional Cuplas.
