The BR12PP-8 smart rivet tool with the QBE-Series controller provides an advanced level of rivet setting features. The BR12PP-8 is a programmable, fully error-proofed, 8 kN cordless POP rivet fastening and process monitoring system covering rivet sizes: 1/8” (3.2 mm), 3/16” (4.8 mm).

• Process traceability: The BR12PP-8 provides onboard storage for 500 rivet fastening results and 2 locally stored rivet fastening graphs that provide force, distance, speed, current and bus voltage recorded every 1 ms during rivet pulling. All recorded force data is easily exported. Integration with manufacturing execution systems is then possible, where each rivet and vehicle can be linked for future reference if required
• Higher productivity: The BR12PP-8 tool can be configured with an optional barcode and can allow switching between 16 different jobs; another excellent use for this tool is where multiple rivets or application thicknesses are present
• Flexibility: The BR12PP-8 is a programmable smart tool that can hold up to 16 different rivet jobs, allowing the customer to use one tool for many rivet applications.
